We use only food-grade PE in the manufacture of our plastic tanks and cisterns. That is why, unlike those of other manufacturers, all of our containers are KTW-certified and therefore suitable for drinking water.

Food-Safe and Tested Material
All Speidel underground tanks are made of high-quality, food-safe PE. The KTW test certificate and testing in accordance with W 270 confirm their suitability for contact with drinking water. The tank does not leach any substances into the water and does not promote bacterial growth.
Independent of the Water Supply Network
A private drinking water storage tank is a reliable solution, especially on properties without a connection to the public water supply network. Underground storage keeps the water cool and dark at all times, which maintains consistent water quality and prevents algae growth.
Retrofit with the drinking water kit
The RTMO underground tank can be easily converted into a drinking water storage tank using the appropriate drinking water kit. There is no need for a time-consuming replacement of the tank.
