Speidel's indestructible underground tank can be used for more than just rainwater harvesting. Massive reinforcing ribs and the thickest walls of all PE underground tanks also make it the ideal storage tank for

The principle of our cisterns simply explained and illustrated:
Drinking water

All Speidel underground tanks are made of high-quality, food-safe PE. This is confirmed by the KTW test certificate and the W 270 test. If you have clarified the official regulations, you can also use your underground tank as a drinking water storage tank without hesitation.
Groundwater

With a module developed by us, all Speidel underground storage tanks can also be used in groundwater. The automatic water level control in the tank means that no pressure is exerted on the tank from outside. Compared to conventional systems, the groundwater module can be easily and simply installed in all Speidel underground storage tanks.
Retention
Retention tank
A retention cistern often also brings financial benefits when calculating the sealed area and therefore the rainwater charge. In addition to pure retention, where all the rainwater is throttled and released into the sewer system, Speidel also offers the option of retaining part of the rainwater and using it for the garden and house.

The so-called LLDPE is resistant to almost all chemicals - and also to the components of leachate and its reaction and decomposition products. For this reason, our containers are particularly suitable for use as collection containers.
